Synopsis
An inspirational sports movie from the writer of Kidulthood.
Two girls from opposite sides of the tracks socially – one is from ‘the street’ (Lenora Crichlow), the other from a moneyed family (Lily James) – wind up pitched against each other in running events. Naturally competitive with each other, it’s not clear if either of them will be able to put their ego to one side when they are both picked for the relay team to represent the UK in the World Athletic Championships. A nail-bitingly exciting sports movie with a cool edge and some great music.
